Here are some links and documents that will help you as you start your 9th grade Critical Reading Journal presentation prep. Please spend some time looking through this stuff to get you started.

Reminders:
--Make this work for you--but do push yourself past the basic summary of books. I'm looking to see you pushing yourself to analyze and address literature more intelligently than just telling me a play by play of what happens. Use the bullet points in the Guideline sheet below to help you.
--Before the end of the semester, each of you will meet with me, one on one, to discuss your CRJ and your writing, reading, etc. These meetings will be 5-7 minutes and will be led by you.
If you are absent the day of your conference, you must reschedule it with me for a time outside of class. If you do not do this, you will receive a 0.

Here are 3 video examples--now, keep in mind, these are all (I think) for AP English Literature or Language, so they will talk about texts that you are not familiar with and they are also older than you--these are just to give you an idea of what your conference can look like!
