SUNDAY NIGHT ALERT:
Ms. Alt is super sick.  And I will be out tomorrow--which means, your paper is not going to be collected until TUESDAY. I feel totally awful being sick on a day you have a major paper due, but I just seriously am like a walking wall of germs, my young ones. I left the sub a note about relating to you how badly I feel for missing another day (2 in one week! Uggg, come on Alt!), but I wanted to put it out here too--I feel really bad. I know you will enjoy another day without me, but please plan to turn in your memoir on Tuesday when I return.
Off to bed now for rest, rest, rest and tea.
Sick and germy,
Ms. Alt

--Read and annotate Where I'm From poem--due Tuesday

Questions
Ideas
Underline words you don't get--maybe look them up?
Summarize each line
Maybe mark lines or phrases that are confusing or weird
Maybe write a couple sentences at the bottom explaining what you think the poem is about.
